The Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist Course (CPMT) is coming to Yonkers, New York.
This Accredited 2-day intensive professional training, taught by Master Teacher Tina Allen, will be held at the new state of the art Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center in Yonkers, New York.
The 136-bed Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center was established in 1987 by the Sisters of Charity. Over time, it grew until in 2012 when it relocated to a magnificent new State-of-the-Art fully “green” building, located on six and a half acre sprawling wooded acres in Yonkers.
Aside from the added space and rustic beauty, there are many other exciting features: outdoor play areas and therapy gardens, fifteen classrooms, a gym, a chapel/meditation room, an aquatic therapy center and The Big Dipper Café.
The design inside the facility is warm and residential rather than institutional – words like “cozy” and “comfortable” come to mind.
Yonkers is located a mere two miles north of Manhattan, making it only a short drive to the Big Apple.
Yonkers borders the Hudson creating a tranquil view filled with Victorian architecture and 19th century estates. A new “Sculpture Meadow on the Hudson” is a renovation of a Victorian-era pier. Also along the Hudson are renovated historic factories and many fine-dining restaurants.
To get around, Yonkers transit system is rated 11th in the country with commuter trains, Amtrak and bus systems.
The former New York and Putnam Railroad running through the middle of Yonkers has been converted into a paved walking and bicycling path, called the South County Trailway. It runs north-south in Yonkers from the Hastings-on-Hudson border in the north to the Bronx border in the south at Van Cortlandt Park.

Finally, an accredited pediatric massage certification program for healthcare professionals who wish to expand their practice by providing massage therapy and nurturing touch for pediatric clients. The Liddle Kidz Foundation Certification course is an intense, fun and effective way to master the core skills of pediatric massage.
Founded by master teacher and philanthropist Tina Allen, the Liddle Kidz Foundation offers a new, comprehensive, research based training course and teaches students what they really need to know to provide pediatric massage.
Any experienced professional will tell you that there is a world of difference between learning how to massage a child from a book or DVD, and knowing how to provide the best care to meet a child’s needs, however, there are few opportunities to learn the skills they really need from a working healthcare professional who has provided pediatric massage education throughout the world.
As a CPMT, you have the special opportunity to provide specialized care through touch therapy to children who need it most.
