Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist Training | CPMT | Wilmington, DE | USA
The Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist Course (CPMT) is coming to Wilmington, Delaware. This professional training, taught by Master Teacher Tina Allen, will be held at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. This special one-day training in pediatric massage therapy is only open to healthcare providers who have experience working within a hospital environment.
The Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children offers a treatment philosophy and level of care and comfort that sets the standard for children’s health care. Nestled among beautifully landscaped gardens, lush lawns, sunlight and fresh air, the 200-bed teaching hospital is integrated with the Nemours Children’s Clinic staff, which provides more than 30 specialties of pediatric medicine, surgery and dentistry in a patient- and family-centered environment.
Nemours promises to do whatever it takes to care for every child as if they were their own. The new “Your child. Our promise.” multi-media campaign shows how kids’ lives are transformed by this dedication to achieving higher standards in children’s health. In fact, Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, was named among the nation's 25 Best Children’s Hospitals by Parents magazine. And in 2012, they will open Nemours Children's Hospital in Central Florida.
While in Wilmington visit one of the many historic sites including Rockwood Park. Tour this marvelous Rural Gothic mansion which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Enjoy the Butler's Pantry, a self-service Victorian Cafe that's perfect for refreshments, and roam 72 acres of serene parkland. Hike 2.5 miles of lighted trails as part of the Delaware Greenway.
Or choose an exciting way to see the sites! Take a canoe down the historic Brandywine River. If you are looking for a relaxing day on this beautiful section of the Brandywine, a gentle ride down this calm river is the best way to enjoy it.
Rather than ride in a canoe, you might try taking a ride on the steam train. The Wilmington and Western offers steam-diesel-powered train tours through the scenic Red Clay Valley of Wilmington. Trains operate rain or shine on weekends throughout the season. There are so many ways to see historic Delaware

Finally, a pediatric massage certification program for healthcare professionals who wish to expand their practice by providing massage therapy and nurturing touch for pediatric clients. The Liddle Kidz Foundation Certification course is an intense, fun and effective way to master the core skills of pediatric massage.
Founded by master teacher and philanthropist Tina Allen, the Liddle Kidz Foundation offers a new, comprehensive, research based training course and teaches students what they really need to know to provide pediatric massage.
Any experienced professional will tell you that there is a world of difference between learning how to massage a child from a book or DVD, and knowing how to provide the best care to meet a child’s needs, however, there are few opportunities to learn the skills they really need from a working healthcare professional who has provided pediatric massage education throughout the world.
As a CPMT, you have the special opportunity to provide specialized care through touch therapy to children who need it most.
