We are excited to bring the Certified Infant Massage Teacher Course (CIMT) to the beautiful and serene San Francisco, California.
This Accredited 3-day professional training, taught by Master Teacher Tina Allen, will be held at the Sports Basement, located just beyond the Golden Gate Bridge in the historic and picturesque Presidio.
Located in the former Presidio Army base commissary, just a stone’s throw from the Golden Gate Bridge, the Sports Basement store at the Presidio store is our largest location. Don’t be surprised if you are directed to the Bakery or Dairy section to find what you’re looking for. Bring your bike or your running shoes with you because we’re surrounded by the trails of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area!
San Francisco is renowned for its chilly summer fog, steep rolling hills, an eclectic mix of Victorian and modern architecture, and its peninsular location surrounded on three sides by the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay. It is the Bay Area home to many famous landmarks including the Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park, Alcatraz Island, the cable cars, Coit Tower, and Chinatown.
Golden Gate Park is among the world’s greatest urban parks. Approximately three miles long and a half mile wide (1,017 acres), this treasure is covered with grassy meadows, wooded bike trails, secluded lakes, open groves, and gardens including a beautiful Japanese Garden which boasts traditional Japanese architecture, koi ponds and bamboo trees.
The Haight Ashbury community is universally recognized for its creativity and diversity expressed by the hybrid mixture of shops, residents, and its landmark place in history. Fisherman’s Wharf is famous for its Italian seafood restaurants with waterfront views. Vendors along Jefferson Street sell Dungeness crab from steaming cauldrons, walkaway seafood cocktails and clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl, a signature San Francisco dish.
Another distinctive feature of San Francisco is The Presidio, a 1,491-acre national park site and is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The Presidio was in continuous use as a military post from 1776 to 1994, spanning the Spanish, Mexican, and United States periods. It was declared a National Historic Landmark District for its importance to Spanish colonial settlement and its prominent U.S. Army history.
The Presidio National Park hosts events year round, including holiday events, outstanding art shows, and great musical events.

Finally, an accredited infant massage certification program for professionals, caregivers and those wanting to begin a new career in the wonderful world of infant massage. The Liddle Kidz Foundation Certification course is an intense, fun and effective way to master the core skills of infant massage.
Founded by master teacher and philanthropist Tina Allen, the Liddle Kidz Foundation offers a new, comprehensive, research based training course and teaches students what they really need to know to become a professional infant massage teacher.
Any experienced infant massage teacher will tell you that there is a world of difference between learning how to massage a baby from a book or DVD, and knowing how to provide the best care to meet a families needs, however, there are few opportunities to learn the skills they really need from a working healthcare professional who has provided infant massage education throughout the world.
As a CIMT, you have the special opportunity to impact an infant and their family for a lifetime.
