Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist Training | CPMT™  | Mayo Clinic | Rochester, MN | USA

Mayo Clinic Building, Rochester, MN | Liddle Kidz FoundationThe Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist Course (CPMT) is coming to Rochester, Minnesota. This professional training, taught by Master Teacher Tina Allen, will be a private course offered for the Mayo Clinic.

This course is being offered in association with the Mayo Clinic in conjunction with the Minnesota School of Business and Ryan Hoyme fondly known as “Massage Nerd”.

Mayo Clinic | Rochester, MinnesotaMayo Clinic is the first and largest integrated, not-for-profit group practice in the world. Doctors from every medical specialty work together to care for patients, joined by common systems and a philosophy of "the needs of the patient come first." More than 3,300 physicians, scientists and researchers and 46,000 allied health staff work at Mayo Clinic, which has sites in Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., and Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. Collectively, the three locations treat more than half a million people each year.

Massage Nerd | Liddle Kidz Foundation | Pediatric MassageMayo Clinic is known for being at the top of the list!  It has been at the top of the US News and World Report of Best Hospitals for 20 years. Mayo accomplishes high medical quality, by coordinating the efforts of its entire group of doctors, and by devoting over 40% of its resources towards research (rather than just medical practice).

Nurse | Pediatric Massage | Liddle Kidz | Mayo ClinicThe clinic started as a single, small outpatient facility, and later became America's first integrated group practice, a model that is now standard in the United States. However, Mayo Clinic integrates the practice of over 1,700 medical doctors, making it much larger than the typical group practice of 3 to 100 doctors.

Mayo is also the name associated with the renowned medical school, Mayo Medical School.  Drs. Will and Charlie Mayo helped found and develop the medical school at the University of Minnesota with a two million dollar gift in 1917. Until the early 1970s, staff doctors were professors at the University of Minnesota medical school. The Mayo Clinic was a pioneer and helped establish the current residency education system. In 1972, Mayo Clinic began its own medical school in Rochester, MN.

Need a cup of coffee or a good book, don’t visit any place. . . try the Historic Chateau Theatre.  Built in 1927, the Chateau was one of the most elaborate theatres built in Rochester in the early 1900s. The exterior sunburst design marquee is lit with 636 light bulbs. Its unique French Village decor includes Mayowoodinterior balconies and turrets and, on the ceiling, stars in the night sky. Refurbished in 1994, this elegant old theatre now houses a Barnes and Noble Bookstore and Starbucks Cafe.

Not into coffee?  Try a cup of tea in the teahouse at Mayowood Mansion.  The Mayowood Mansion is the historic home of three generations of the famous Mayo family. The five story stone structure contains 100 rooms in a beautiful rural wooded setting only 3 miles from downtown Rochester.

Come to Rochester and discover with us!

Now Let's Talk about how the Liddle Kidz Foundation can make a postive impact on your life!

Finally, an accredited pediatric massage certification program for healthcare professionals who wish to expand their practice by providing massage therapy and nurturing touch for pediatricPlease Liddle Kidz, teach my Mommy & Daddy Infant Massage clients.  The Liddle Kidz™ Foundation Certification course is an intense, fun and effective way to master the core skills of pediatric massage.

Founded by master teacher and philanthropist Tina Allen, the Liddle Kidz™ Foundation offers a new, comprehensive, research based training course and teaches students what they really need to know to provide pediatric massage.

Any experienced professional will tell you that there is a world of difference between learning how to massage a child from a book or DVD, and knowing how to provide the best care to meet a child’s needs, however, there are few opportunities to learn the skills they really need from a working healthcare professional who has provided pediatric massage education throughout the world.

As a CPMT™, you have the special opportunity to provide specialized care through touch therapy to children who need it most.
