The Certified Infant Massage Teacher Course (CIMT) is coming to Phoenix, Arizona. This 3-day professional training, taught by Master Teacher Tina Allen, will be held at the Arizona School of Massage Therapy.
Hikers, bikers and climbers in Greater Phoenix have come to the same conclusion as coyotes, roadrunners and jackrabbits: The Sonoran Desert is a great place to play.
Three major mountains buttress Phoenix, providing visitors an outlet for every grade of outdoor pursuit. And because the Sonoran Desert is one of the most ecologically diverse deserts in the world, explorers will discover an extraordinary range of plant and animal life that varies with changes in elevation and climate.
For locals and guests alike, hiking, biking and horseback riding on Phoenix’s many mountain trails is a daily ritual. Many visitors are also surprised to learn that seven large lakes are within a leisurely drive of the city offering picturesque settings for water recreation.
There’s no wrong way to experience the natural splendor of the Sonoran Desert. The only tragedy would be to miss it.
Every major city, and most minor ones, have museums. Phoenix is no exception! The Heard Museum is unique, however, not only in the exhibits that are displayed, but the style and grace with which it displays them. There are permanent exhibits, like the famous Barry Goldwater collection of Kachina Dolls, as well as special exhibit year-round.
The Desert Botanical Garden has one of the world’s finest collections of desert plants. It is one of only 44 botanical gardens accredited by the American Association of Museums. At the Desert Botanical Garden you will find 50 acres of beautiful outdoor exhibits. Home to 139 rare, threatened and endangered plant species from around the world, there is no finer place to enjoy desert beauty than the Desert Botanical Garden. The Garden is located in Papago Park in Central Phoenix.
Chase Field was the first baseball facility in the world to combine a retractable roof, air conditioning, and a natural turf field. Sounds like a great combination for fun! Chase Field's retractable roof can be closed in less than 5 minutes, in case Phoenix gets one of those rare days of inclement weather. If you are a baseball fan, a visit to this state-of-art facility will be a special treat. And, if not, no worries, there are also trade show, religious events and concerts held at Chase Field.
Come to Phoenix and experience the fun with us!
Finally, an infant massage certification program for professionals, caregivers and those wanting to begin a new career in the wonderful world of infant massage. The Liddle Kidz Foundation Certification course is an intense, fun and effective way to master the core skills of infant massage.
Founded by master teacher and philanthropist Tina Allen, the Liddle Kidz Foundation offers a new, comprehensive, research based training course and teaches students what they really need to know to become a professional infant massage teacher.
Any experienced infant massage teacher will tell you that there is a world of difference between learning how to massage a baby from a book or DVD, and knowing how to provide the best care to meet a families needs, however, there are few opportunities to learn the skills they really need from a working healthcare professional who has provided infant massage education throughout the world.
As a CIMT, you have the special opportunity to impact an infant and their family for a lifetime.
