Certified Infant Massage Teacher Training | CIMT | Milwaukee, WI | USA
The Certified Infant Massage Teacher Course (CIMT) is coming to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This 3-day professional training, taught by Master Teacher Tina Allen, will be held at Lakeside School of Massage Therapy, which boasts 19 years of excellence in providing massage therapy education in the State of Wisconsin.
Home to Summerfest, the world's largest music festival, and a host of ethnic and cultural events, Milwaukee is a true American city. Old and new worlds blend across the urban landscape from busy downtown corridors to ethnic neighborhoods filled with small shops and eateries. And while Milwaukee still maintains a strong German heritage, it has also embraced the other diverse communities that have come to call it home.
Old World Third Street offers a unique blend of old and new situated close by the Milwaukee River. Originally a German neighborhood, the area is now an eclectic blend of boutiques, specialty shops and restaurants. Its German roots continue to thrive however, and if you're looking for an authentic taste of the Old World, try visiting Mader's German Restaurant — a popular place amongst locals — where you can get your fill of sauerbraten and schnitzel while sitting amidst a sizeable collection of medieval armor, weaponry and stained glass. Pick up treats to take home from world-famous Usinger's Sausage or The Spice House, where hard to find spices are aplenty. Housed in an old savings bank built in 1913, history buffs can learn more about the city's past at the Milwaukee County Historical Society. Escape the buzz of the streets by settling down in Pere Marquette Park. You might even be able to catch a free concert while you're there.
A trio of 85-foot, beehive-shaped domes make up the Mitchell One of Milwaukee's best (un)kept secret - the Safe House, a spy-themed restaurant and bar. Named after the covert meeting places used by real-life undercover agents, this establishment takes its operation seriously. Finding it can be a bit tricky (Hint: Look for a storefront named International Exports Ltd.) and you'll need a password to gain entry. But have no fear. Patrons not privy to the secret phrase can also get in by completing a spy "test," though shy would-be spies should know that their exploits are being broadcast inside the bar for all agents already inside to see. Once you're inside the Safe House (and it'll be worth it!), enjoy a "spy-cial" dish from the menu or a 007-inspired drink from the bar. Be sure to examine all the special agent paraphernalia that includes surveillance equipment and other high-tech gear. Particularly worth investigation is the fake-cover phone booth where callers can choose from a large selection of background noises when placing an outgoing call.
Take in some art by visiting the Milwaukee Art Museum which is home to an extensive collection of nearly 20,000 works, representing such artists as Pablo Picasso, Georgia O'Keeffe and Andy Warhol. Or spend the day with the kids at the Betty Brinn children’s Museum, where children 10 and under can look and touch at this interactive, educational museum, where they learn about everyday life in unique and imaginative ways, from crawling through the ventricles of a giant human heart to role-playing different jobs and countless other fun activities.
North of Milwaukee’s downtown is Brady Street. This area is frequented by college students, hip types and those in search of authentic Italian food. Or for a little more fun, go for a spin and enjoy dinner at Polaris atop the Hyatt, Pedal a boat on the lagoon at the lakefront or even try skipping down Knapp St. singing " One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight! Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated”

Finally, an infant massage certification program for professionals, caregivers and those wanting to begin a new career in the wonderful world of infant massage. The Liddle Kidz Foundation Certification course is an intense, fun and effective way to master the core skills of infant massage.
Founded by master teacher and philanthropist Tina Allen, the Liddle Kidz Foundation offers a new, comprehensive, research based training course and teaches students what they really need to know to become a professional infant massage teacher.
Any experienced infant massage teacher will tell you that there is a world of difference between learning how to massage a baby from a book or DVD, and knowing how to provide the best care to meet a families needs, however, there are few opportunities to learn the skills they really need from a working healthcare professional who has provided infant massage education throughout the world.
As a CIMT, you have the special opportunity to impact an infant and their family for a lifetime.
