In 2011, Lakeside School of Massage Therapy built a relationship with Herzing University – Brookfield to create an ideal educational and practicum opportunity for students. Students can earn a diploma and/or associate degree in therapeutic massage, and many Lakeside instructors with involved in the creation of the program at Herzing, including former Lakeside director Dr. Carole Ostendorf. Herzing University – Brookfield.Home to Summerfest, the world's largest music festival, and a host of ethnic and cultural events, Milwaukee is a true American city. Old and new worlds blend across the urban landscape from busy downtown corridors to ethnic neighborhoods filled with small shops and eateries. And while Milwaukee still maintains a strong German heritage, it has also embraced the other diverse communities that have come to call it home.

Miller Park in Milwaukee, WIOld World Third Street offers a unique blend of old and new situated close by the Milwaukee River. Originally a German neighborhood, the area is now an eclectic blend of boutiques, specialty shops and restaurants. Its German roots continue to thrive however, and if you're looking for an authentic taste of the Old World, try visiting Mader's German Restaurant — a popular place amongst locals — where you can get your fill of sauerbraten and schnitzel while sitting amidst a sizeable collection of medieval armor, weaponry and stained glass.

The Safe House, Milwaukee, WICheck out one of Milwaukee's best (un)kept secret - the Safe House, a spy-themed restaurant and bar. Named after the covert meeting places used by real-life undercover agents, this establishment takes its operation seriously.

This spy-themed restaurant involves passwords, hidden rooms and disappearing ink—and the theme continues on into its bathroom. To enter, users must navigate through a series of complicated mazes and avoid a trick door.

Laverne and Shirley - Milwaukee, WisconsinNorth of Milwaukee’s downtown is Brady Street.  This area is frequented by college students, hip types and those in search of authentic Italian food.

Or for a little more fun, go for a spin and enjoy dinner at Polaris atop the Hyatt, Pedal a boat on the lagoon at the lakefront or even try skipping down Knapp St. singing " One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight! Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated”

There are so many ways to see historic Milwaukee, why not come to Milwaukee and discover with us!

Trauma may come in many forms including hospitalization, experiencing physical and verbal abuse, witnessing traumatic events and traumatic natural events. These experiences can shape a child’s development, and have consequences that last for years beyond the actual event.

Founded by master teacher and philanthropist Tina Allen, the Liddle Kidz™ Foundation offers a new, comprehensive, research based training course and teaches students what they really need to know to become an advanced professional in the area of pediatric massage therapy.

Any experienced healthcare professional will tell you that there is a world of difference between learning how to massage a child from a book or DVD, and knowing how to provide the best care to meet a child and families needs, however, there are few opportunities to learn the skills they really need from a working healthcare professional who has provided infant and pediatric massage education throughout the world.

With specialized advanced training in Pediatric Massage Therapy, you have the unique opportunity to impact a child affected by Trauma for a lifetime.
