Certified Infant Massage Teacher Training | CIMT™  | Los Angeles (El Segundo/LAX) | CA | USA

Greetings from Sunny Manhattan Beach, CaliforniaThe Certified Infant Massage Teacher Course (CIMT) is coming back to Los Angeles, specifically the City of El Segundo, which is directly next door to LAX Airport. This Accredited 3-day professional training, taught by Master Teacher Tina Allen, will be held at Touch Institute Los Angeles (TILA).

Touch Institute Los Angeles Inc. (TILA) is committeed to providing comprehensive, research based touch therapy for the entire family.  With a specialized center for pediatric massage therapy, TILA provides pediatric masage and touch therapies for chidlren aged 3 through 18 years of age, as well as, infant massage instruction forManhattan Beach Coffee parents, caregivers and healthcare professionals.

While visiting El Segundo, nearby is the beautiful Manhattan Beach!  The wide sandy beach is lined with expensive beachfront homes. Gorgeous bodies abound, seemingly even more here than in other Southern California beach towns. The further you stray from the pier, the less populated the beach is. The northern section is called El Porto Beach. To the south lies Hermosa Beach.

The South Bay Bicycle Trail stretches along the back of the sand, extending 22 miles from Will Rogers State Beach in the north to Torrance Beach in the south. There is also a pedestrian walkway called the Strand where you can enjoy the "sights" as you take a leisurely stroll or burn calories while walking.

Near the Municipal Pier, you’ll see lots people playing volleyball in the sand. Swimming and surfing are popular activities here as at most Southern California beaches.  The pier itself has a small marine life Greetings from Hollywood, CAaquarium, fishing and bike racks.  The pier is located at the foot of Manhattan Beach Boulevard.

The place for shopping is Manhattan Avenue and Manhattan Beach Boulevard.  Both are lined with lots of fun shops and places to eat.

The street that runs through town is Highland Ave., just a few blocks from the beach. Here you'll find a pleasing array of small shops, bars and restaurants.   In the mood for some yummy eats . . . Check out Pollo Inka (Peruvian) and Versailles (Cuban). Get anything on the menus there ... they're all great!

While in Southern California, don’t spend all of your time in Hermosa Beach.  Take a quick hop over to Los Angeles. Los Angeles is known by many different names: Tinsel Town, the City of Angels even La-La Land. That might be because Los Angeles means so many different things to people. A city with a nationGetty Center Los Angeles-wide reputation for spoiled movie stars and flaky rich, Los Angeles also boasts several first-rate museums, cultural events and fine foods. Combined with terrific weather, Los Angeles is a great place for a vacation with plenty of nightlife, movie stars, the beach and don't forget about Disneyland!

For movie fans, there is the star-studded Hollywood Walk of Fame and Mann's Chinese Theater with is concrete impressions of the biggest movie star's hands and feet. While in Los Angeles you can sit in on live tapings of your favorite television shows, see Jaws at Universal Studios or take a tour of Paramount Studios. The Academy Awards are given out each year in Los Angeles for the best in movie making. Warner Bros. Studio also has a tour of its film stages and backlots.

Los Angeles has the world champion L.A. Lakers and the Anaheim Ducks professional hockey team. Trojan fans can see the famous USC Fighting Trojan Marching Band at the University of Southern Disney Concert Hall in Los AngelesCalifornia. The La Brea Tar Pits has a great collection of ancient animals that were preserved in the tar. For live animals there's the Los Angeles Zoo. Griffith Park is home to the Griffith Observatory, the Greek Theater and the Gene Autry Museum of Western Heritage.

Los Angeles has plenty of culture to offer visitors. The Los Angeles County Art Museum has works by Degas, Cezanne, Gaugin and others. The Museum of Radio and Television tracks the history of the two mediums while the Museum of Tolerance tries to help people better understand each other.  One of our favorites is the Getty.  Perched high atop a hill overlooking Southern California, just viewing the exterior of the museum is viewing a work of art.

If you are lucky enough to take in a concert at the world famous Disney Concert hall, you are truly in for a treat.  Designed by architect Frank Gehry, Walt Disney Concert Hall, new home of the Los AngelesThe World Famous Shopping Heaven. Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, California Philharmonic, is designed to be one of the most acoustically sophisticated concert halls in the world, providing both visual and aural intimacy for an unparalleled musical experience.  Every seat provides you with a full view of everything the stage has to offer.

Luxury shopping can be found along Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, and for the more adventurous   Melrose Avenue is not only home to cutting edge fashions, but many charming eateries and hot spots.

Come to Los Angeles and discover with us!
