This will likely b a sort of long posting but I will try to keep it on the shorter side. I have been a working mom for as long as I can remember. I had to work because my husband was unable too and we have two small children. My little girl has a disability that prevents her from walking normally and I learned to use massage to help her. I never realized that I could actually learn to teach others how to massage their chidlren until I found the Liddle Kidz Foundation website. After reading everythgn about the infant massage techer training program I knew it was something I wanted to do. So, I took the course recently and learned there is really so much more than just massage that we are teaching parents. I am so excited. I just finished all of my homework and I am now certified to teach. I already set up some classes in my area with some agencies that have been so helpful with all my family has been through. I am looking forward to geeting everything going so I can leave my other job and focus all of my attention on teaching families. I hope other people will consider getting trained so they can share this magical touch with families too.
I took a Liddle Kidz Infant massage class too, and now I want to teach it. I was thinking of taking the course in Toronto, as I live pretty close on the US side. It would be much closer than getting to the New York class. I do hope there is still room available in the class.
