Default Presentations...

hello,
I have been asked to present baby massage to youth parents (ages 19 and under).
Any ideas to get them interested and keep them involved? It was suggested that the presentation be up to 30 minutes... yikes! that seems like a lot of time to fill with teenagers...
Thanks!

Hi Corinna,

Here are some ideas for our presentation:

Here are some suggestions:

- keep the setting relaxed and casual

- try to keep the presentation short if possible

- don't speak over their heads, but try not to act as if they are children
(after all we know they are parents)

- I would also suggest having some type of door or raffle prize. Maybe provide a raffle ticket at the beginning of your talk and then give the prize at the end

- make your handouts fun & informational, making sure to define any terms
that may not be familiar

- have some fun music, and if showing any massage strokes, use some songs to help them connect with their babies & remember the strokes

Hope this helps!

HI Tina,

Hope you and your family are doing good! This information on presentations was so helpful THANK YOU. Thank you also for always helping me get my ideas in order. It has made such a huge difference in my ability to share infant massage with others.
