Does Massage make babies smarter

Many people believe that infant massage stimulates the learning capabilities of babies. Research studies performed by Dr. Tiffany Field at the Touch Research Institute in Miami, have shown that a five-minute massage enhances the performance of babies and children on tasks requiring attentiveness.

With all the reading I have done I would absolutely agree that massage can make babies smarter

YES it does! I really think any kind of close interaction like infant massage stimulates all the right senses and helps babies to develop at a better rate than children that don't receive the same kind of nurturing interaction.

I definitely think massage makes babies smarter. I notice that my dear daughter is growing and developing faster than some of the other children I see that are her age. I wasn't sure at first, but now I know it's the massage, because when I ask other parents they haven't tried it yet, mostly they say they don't have time. But I always tell them it's so easy and it doesn't take any extra time. I love massaging my baby. She loves it too. It's our special time together.

It does work! I read lots about massage and have tried it myself. I have seen the effects first hand and would agree that massage does make babies smarter.
