Default Breastfeeding vs. Bottlefeeding

There has long been a debate as to what is right for baby -

What do you think?

Do you have a little one?

Did you, or are you breastfeeding? Or using formula?

Default Breastfeeding

I am breastfeeding my little girl for as long as I can. Sometimes people don't like it when I do it in public, but when she has to eat she does. I am not rude about it, but you know how people are. I think breastfeeding is the best.

Default I vote for Breastfeeding

It's natures food for your baby and my babies have always been healthy and I always breastfeed. Well not my son anymore, but my daughter.

Eldest was BF and bottle...BF dried up around 8.5m. Wee-one was BF (no bottle) for about 20m.

BF is great for cost-effectiveness, but it's only as nutritious as the nutrition going into mom. Bottle is convenient in public places and on roadtrips, but it gets pricey and can cause sensitivites and food allergies.

For me the debate is something of a moot point...solids is what gets stuck in my craw. *chuckle* I'm a big advocate for waiting on solids and then only doing rice cereal. As for the jarred stuff, my kiddos start with the dark green veggies, then we go to the orange veggies, and at the very end we do the fruit. Problem is that they don't eat nearly as balanced once they're onto table food...we've gotta do something about our table diet....*lol*
