Default Cross Nursing

I knew of someone who was cross nursing for her cousin and honestly I thought it was really weird. Now today I just saw an article that there is a rise in cross nursing. What do you all think about cross nursing? I don't really understand it.

Default Not a good idea

I've heard of this too. I think it's a bad idea because the milk the mom makes is specifically for her baby. If a baby drinks another person's milk the baby might not be used to it and could get sick. Maybe their immune system is not used to the milk of another and who knows if that person has some kind of illness or sickness they could pass along to the baby.
