Default Help Please - Crying Baby!

My baby crys alot, I am finding it very hard to deal with. I would LOVE some advice on how to deal with a crying baby and how to deal with my own emotions regarding having my baby's crying.

I sure know that babies have a tendancy to cry a lot, but it feels like she is trying to tell me something and I don't understand. I want her to feel safe and secure and loved with me but how can she be if she is crying so much?

Any help please!

Default Crying can be very stressful

Hi there,

Crying is very stressful for parents because of course we want to do the very best for our babies & not have them experience anything that may be upsetting. Please know first of all that crying is a form of communication for your baby, so yes, she is trying to tell you something, but the question is????? What exactly is baby saying???

Please read this article I wrote about crying: Why is my baby crying and how can I help her?

Default thank you

thank you for sending me the article to read. i tried someof the things you said and it works. plus now it makes a little more sense that she is trying to tell me something. i am still having trouble knowing what that is everytime she crys but i think i'm starting to understand more.

Default it just takes time

Hi Katie,

I'm new here, but I just read your post about getting to know what your baby wants. You will know soon enough it just takes time to get to know her.

Default You're right!

Absolutely! Just give it time. Your relationship with your baby is always developing as you get to know each other. Over time you will be able to easily respond to her needs appropriately.

Soon enough you will be the expert on your little one.

My friend's little baby wasn't crying too much at first when they got home, but now there's lots of crying. My friend is doing everything the same. Is there anything else she should try?
