There has been research showing that massage can be very effective for reducing the symptoms of Eczema. So yes, you can continue to massage your daughter when she has eczema.

When looking for oil for massage, I would definitely recommend something edible. As you are probably aware your daughter will likely put her hands and feet in her mouth during massage. Of course, considering that she has eczema, be careful to check if your daughter has any reaction to the introduction of a new oil. Also, you'll want to watch for active skin inflammation or open sores, so as not to aggravate the condition.

Here are some recommendations for massage oil:

* Grapeseed oil – Non-allergenic and good for all types of skin.

* Jojoba oil – A penetrating, anti-bacterial oil for eczema and acne.

* Sweet almond oil – Anti-inflammatory, light, and good for most skin types, especially dry skin

Again, if introducing a new oil, please be sure to watch for any reaction to the introduction of the oil. We definitely do not want to irritate her delicate skin.
