During this session, participants learn about the many benefits of pediatric massage, who is qualified to perform pediatric massage and how to receive appropriate training in this growing field.
The importance of receiving specialized training to work with pediatric clients and children with special health care needs, who are hospitalized or have been diagnosed with a terminal illness, will be discussed.
Additionally, we will review research/evidence-based benefits and indications for pediatric massage therapy.
